MacDonald SS (Kitchener), Resurrection CSS (Kitchener), Oakville Trafalgar HS (Oakville) and Pickering HS (Pickering) all won their quarter-final matches as play concluded during the second day of the 2013 OFSAA Field Hockey Championship in Kitchener-Waterloo. (October 23, 2013) – For the fifth straight season the Resurrection Phoenix are the toast of District 8 field hockey beating Monsignor Doyle Mustangs 7-0 to win the District 8 championship at St. David’s field. (October 21, 2013) – The Resurrection Phoenix and Monsignor Doyle Mustangs will meet for the second consecutive season in the District 8 Field Hockey Championship after winning their semifinal games this afternoon.
