Clarke, a grade 12 senior setter, helped the Cavaliers to a perfect season in D8 play en route to winning Woodland’s first OFSAA volleyball banner at the single ‘A’ level.  Woodland finished with a 16-0 record in District 8 then captured CWOSSA and the OFSAA titles going undefeated in both championship events.

Joining Clarke on the first team was Woodland’s left side hitter Kevin Frank, right side hitter Brendan Vandergeest, plus Caleb Isaacs who was named D8’s top libero.

District 8 runner up Rockway had four players named to the all-star squad with Zack Kehl and Lukas Winter earning first team honours while Nathan Hebel and Connor Huxman grabbed second team status.

Phillip Tasedan, who was last year’s most valuable player, earned his second straight appearance on the first team to represent St. Mary’s High School.  He was joined by Eagles teammate David Nguyen who garnered a second team honour.

Jacob Bruder from St. David’s was a defensive specialist named to the team in the libero position on the second team.  John Elten of St. Benedict’s and Jack Quirke of Resurrection were the lone players to represent their schools on the second team as well.

Resurrection garnered three selections with Demar Holness and Austin McKenna claiming first team honours and Thomas Onuska grabbing a spot on the second team.

Woodland’s David Bruinsma and Daniel Wolfert represented Woodland Christian on the first team while Mathieu Boileau (Père-René-de-Galinée), EJ Enriques (St. Benedict), and Nolan Spencer (St. David) were the lone representatives from their schools on the junior second team.
