(October 17, 2013) Resurrection has clinched home field advantage throughout the District 8 Field Hockey playoffs with a 4-0 win over the second place St. Mary’s Eagles on Wednesday afternoon. (April 10, 2013)- The Woodland Christian High School Cavaliers did the unthinkable on Wednesday claiming the District 8 Badminton Championship by dethroning the Monsignor Doyle Mustangs who had captured 22-straight overall titles. (December 13, 2012) – For the first time since 2007-08 a new overall swimming champion was crowned by the District 8 Athletic Association on Thursday — The St. Mary’s Eagles captured the 2012-13 District 8 swimming championship edging  five time-defending champion Resurrection Phoenix for the combined crown.
