CAMBRIDGE (February 12, 2014) – The St. Benedict Saints head into the midget boys basketball playoffs as the team to beat holding a perfect 6-0 record.  The playoffs kick off on Thursday with the semifinals and culminate with the championship final on Friday.

St. Benedicts hold down the No. 1 seed while Resurrection has earned the No. 2 seed claiming six points in the double round robin.  St. Mary’s holds the No. 3 seed while Père-René-de-Galinée  rounds out the final four.

The playoff matches on Thursday are as follows

• No. 4 ES Père-René-de-Galinée vs. No. 1 St. Benedict CSS – 2:30pm @ SBCSS
• No. 3 St. Mary’s HS vs. No. 2 Resurrection CSS – 3:30pm @ SBCSS
