WATERLOO REGION (February 24, 2015) – On Monday night the region’s top high school basketball team, St. Mary’s Eagles, captured their fourth straight District 8 Championship over St. Benedict CSS of Cambridge 78-55. WATERLOO REGION (February 20, 2015) – Due to inclement weather and school closures today, the District 8 Boys Basketball Championships will be postponed to Monday February 23, 2015. All three matches will be hosted at St. Mary’s High School in Kitchener. St. Mary’s senior team will look to defend their D8 title against St. Benedict’s at 8:00pm. The Junior game will tip off at 6:00pm between St. David’s and St. Mary’s….

Cambridge schools advance to senior semifinals

WATERLOO REGION (February 10, 2014) – The St. Benedict Saints and the Monsignor Doyle Mustangs have advanced to the semifinals in senior basketball as they knocked off their quarter-final opponents on Monday.
