WATERLOO REGION (December 11, 2015) – District 8 Athletic Association announced its junior boys soccer All-Stars on Friday with the 2015-16 champion, and undefeated St. Mary’s Eagles leading the way with five nominations.

Grade 10 defenders Lukas Cimermancic and Andre Sousa were named the all-star squad from St. Mary’s along with their goalkeeper, Sami Moussa. Striker Ryan Amorim was also named as an all-star along with the lone grade nine from St. Mary’s, midfielder Thomas Rumble.

Runner up, St. David’s Celtics, were credited with three all-star nods which included grade 10 defender Quinton Dowling, grade 10 midfielder Aidan Hughes and grade nine striker, Quinton Jackson.

St. Benedict’s is represented by grade 10 central midfielder Marius Pop, while Resurrection is represented by grade 10 midfielder Sergio Paloma. Grade nine midfielder Alex Amaral was named to the all-star team from Monsignor Doyle.
