WATERLOO REGION (June 9, 2016) – On Tuesday May 31st the Girls’ slo-pitch semi-finals and finals were played, and in the end, St. David’s came out on top.
The first semi-final was between the league’s first place finisher St. David’s, and the fourth placed Monsignor Doyle. St. David’s overpowered Doyle from the first pitch and even though the Marauders fought hard, they were unable to fend off their rival and fell 13-2. These two teams have played each other tough all season, but in this matchup, it was the Eagles getting the better of the Saints winning 7-2.
